Pastor Ronald Sham previously served as a youth pastor of Spring Church, Evangelical Free Church of China (EFCC) in Hong Kong. He married his wife, Cherry in 2018 and they have a lovely daughter, Dorothy.

 

Pastor Ronald grew up in a middle-class family. However, after the 1997 financial crisis, the relationship between his parents deteriorated. His life underwent drastic challenges and changes, including family financial crisis, parental suicide attempts, and parental divorce. In 2008, he experienced the power and the truth of God when his mother’s depression was healed by Jesus Christ. Afterwards, he resolved to turn his life around back to God.

 

He continued to grow in faith and was called to serve God in 2010. While seeking the will of God, he worked as an administrative assistant for the recreation ministry in EFCC Yan Fook Church from 2013 to 2014. In 2015, he answered the Lord’s calling to be a full-time student at the Hong Kong Alliance Bible Seminary and earned his Bachelor of Theology and Master of Divinity in 2018.

 

Pastor Ronald relocated from Hong Kong to the Bay Area in 2023 to serve with CBCSJ. He considers it is a blessing to be called to serve God and bring people to know Jesus Christ through the preaching and teaching of His Word.
